Imagine waking up in a quiet bay, taking a morning dip and deciding for yourself whether the day should go to Grinda, Möja or some unknown island further out. With our Nordic Family Boat, the archipelago is yours for almost a whole week.
The Nordic Family Boat is a classic Swedish sailboat that is stable, forgiving and easy to handle, perfect for those who have recently learned to sail. It is the same type of boat that we use on our courses. On board there are five beds, a simple toilet and a reliable onboard engine that will take you home even when the wind is blowing.
You are never alone in planning. Before embarking, you will take our introductory course on board this particular boat. You get our route suggestions for different winds and weather, nautical charts and the Harbour Guide, and we are a call away throughout the week.
Pick up the boat in Viggbyholm on Tuesday morning and come back on Sunday afternoon. Five nights, a boat and the whole archipelago ahead of you.

- Requirements: The skipper must have taken Sailstar's basic course or hold Sailing Certificate 1 and have passed the introductory course boat charter (2 490 SEK/person) or Level 2 and be at least 18 years old
- Return: In the same condition as when picked up: cleaned, septic tank emptied and water refilled
- Bring; Sheets or sleeping bag, towels, clothes according to the weather, food
- Good to know: The boat has GPS tracking for your safety
Practical information
The boat is located in Viggbyholm, picked up and left there. Can be picked up from Tuesday morning at 09:00 and left no later than Sunday 16:00
If you go by public transport, you can either take a bus or Roslagsbanan to Näsbypark. If you come by car, there is plenty of parking.
In order to rent the boat, you need to have completed a basic course at Sailstar or a sailing certificate 1 and a completed introductory course (alternatively, a Level 2 course at Sailstar.)
